Beira Interior Wine Villages:
Designing Wine Heritage

BRIEF
The Beira Interior Wine Villages project is an enotourism initiative aimed at establishing Portugal's Beira Interior region as a premier wine tourism destination. It offers visitors unique and authentic experiences centered around the region's rich wine heritage, gastronomy, culture, and natural landscapes, encompassing 20 municipalities within the Intermunicipal Communities of Beiras and Serra da Estrela and Beira Baixa. I collaborated with Wine Crush Consulting to design the branding and identity of this project, contributing to its strategic development and visual representation.

“grid”

“From-the-roots” tourism

Rooted in fertile land, this identity grows literally from the soil, which in the region of Beira Interior offers as much richness as food, fabrics, castles, wine and olive oil. All made from what the land gives us.

The visual symbols come from nature, each one tied to a unique experience. Together they shape Beira Interior Wine Villages, where heritage, landscape and craftsmanship come together in an authentic way.

Meet the Experiences

The symbols were designed to include the seed of the root in their structure, reinforcing the idea of origin and connection to the land.

The only thing left is to incorporate this symbolism into the logo.

The only thing left is to incorporate this symbolism into the logo.
The aim is to create a unique symbol that reflects the seasonal nature and authentic experiences offered by the Wine Villages project. A logo that grows from Beira Interior’s fertile ground and captures the essence of the land, its people, and the stories it shares throughout the year.
